The Kenny Parent Foundation (KPF) is a 501c3 non-profit organization that exists to build community between Kenny students, staff, and families, and to provide enhanced educational programming, equipment and spaces for our school and classrooms. Here are just some of the events and projects that the KPF has made possible this school year:
Fall Festival, Turkey Bingo, Art Adventure, Artist in Residence programs, One School, One Book program, AMAZEworks curriculum and trainings, new playground equipment, garden and outdoor classroom updates
Funding teacher-requested grants, such as flexible seating, hands-on math supplies, music instruments, and more
Still to come this school year: Science Fair, Spring Carnival, Field Day, and yearbooks
To continue the work of the KPF, we ask that you consider making a donation to our spring fundraiser between April 25th and May 6th. With 329 students total, our fundraising goal is $30,000.
We know that families are stressed and we are not asking for any sort of action on your part. There will be no bake sales, read-a-thons, or laps to run and record. We simply ask that you make a donation. No gift is too small, and every dollar will be used to support Kenny Community School. Please consider a donation that fits within your family’s budget, and, if possible, helps support Kenny families who are not able to contribute at this time. Help us earn more by asking for donations from friends and family members (we even wrote you a template). And don’t forget to ask your employer about matching contributions.
Thank you, Kenny Kangaroos. We appreciate all that you do for our school and community.
